- McDonald's is introducing a new Special Edition Gold Sauce, a vinegary North Carolina BBQ blend with honey, smoke, and mustard notes, available on September 3.
- The sauce will feature in new menu items, including the Special Edition Gold Snack Wrap, Bacon Special Edition Gold McCrispy, and Bacon Special Edition Gold Deluxe McCrispy.
- Customers can also order the Gold Sauce as a side to complement existing menu items, such as McCrispy Strips and fries.
- The launch follows the return of McDonald's Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin & Creme Pie, which became available a week prior.
- These new and returning offerings come after McDonald's announced a 15 percent reduction in combo meal prices due to customer feedback on rising costs.
