Listen to the new refreshed ‘See it. Say it. Sorted.’ message to be played on trains
- Britain's "See it. Say it. Sorted." railway security campaign is being refreshed for the first time since its introduction nearly a decade ago.
- From Tuesday, passengers will encounter updated announcements and new posters, with a greater emphasis on the 61016 text number for reporting incidents to British Transport Police.
- The slogan's wording and broadcast frequency will remain unchanged, despite public feedback suggesting it is often ignored due to overuse or misinterpretation.
- Since its 2016 launch, the campaign has seen an eight-fold increase in annual text reports to 255,088, with over one million texts sent to 61016 since 2013.
- The government is also providing nearly £17 million to Network Rail to enhance police access to CCTV systems at railway stations, improving real-time footage availability.
