Popular salad kit recalled over sesame and soy allergy risk

The Taylor Farms honey and balsamic kit has been recalled
The Taylor Farms honey and balsamic kit has been recalled (Food and Drug Adminstration)
  • Taylor Fresh Foods is voluntarily recalling its Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit 6/8.3oz.
  • The recall is due to the potential presence of undeclared sesame and soy allergens.
  • This issue arose because master packs from supplier Latitude 36 Foods incorrectly contained Asian Sesame Ginger dressing instead of the intended Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette.
  • The affected kits were distributed in 25 US states and can be identified by code dates starting with "TFRS" and a "Best If Used By" date up to and including 4 September 2025.
  • Consumers are advised to discard the recalled product immediately; no illnesses have been reported to date, and refunds are available at the point of purchase.
