Number of overseas visitors to the US drops by millions

The number of overseas visitors to the U.S. declined by over 3 million, or 1.6 per cent, in the first seven months of the year compared to the same period last year.
Experts and local officials largely attribute this significant dip in international tourism to Donald Trump's return to office and his administration's policies.
Specific policies cited include sweeping global tariffs, an immigration crackdown, and threats regarding the U.S. acquiring Canada and Greenland, which are seen as alienating international travellers.
