President Trump's "One Big, Beautiful Bill" narrowly passed the House of Representatives with a 215-214 vote.
The bill faced strong opposition from some Republicans concerned about Medicaid cuts and tax deductions, leading to last-minute negotiations and deals.
The final version includes accelerated Medicaid work requirements, restrictions on gender-affirming care funding, increased border security spending, and the removal of a tax on gun silencers.
The bill also renames "MAGA Accounts" to "Trump Accounts" and modifies renewable energy tax credits.
It now moves to the Senate, where it is expected to undergo significant changes due to the Republicans' slim majority and the use of the reconciliation process.
