  • A man died after falling from a hot air balloon in West Sussex.
  • The incident occurred near Newpound Common, Wisborough Green, around 9.20am on Friday, 19 September.
  • His body was discovered in a field at 1.50pm following an extensive search by police.
  • The man was part of a group on a balloon flight travelling from Billingshurst to Dunsfold, Surrey.
  • Police are not treating the death as suspicious, and formal identification is yet to take place.
