Black swan nicknamed ‘Mr Terminator’ evicted from town after attacking local birds

- A black swan, named Reggie and nicknamed "Mr Terminator", has been removed from Stratford-Upon-Avon after becoming aggressive towards the local mute swans.
- The Australian native bird initially gained significant popularity, with residents and visitors flocking to see it, making it "more popular than William Shakespeare" locally.
- Cyril Bennis, Stratford-Upon-Avon's swan warden for 45 years, captured the swan after it started muscling in on mute swan territory, kicking out a male and its cygnet, and attempting to drown other swans.
- Mr Bennis stated the removal was necessary to protect the town's approximately 60 native mute swans and prevent any unwanted integration or harm.
- The black swan is currently being held in a local park and will be relocated to the Dawlish Waterfowl Centre in Devon, restoring peace to the river.
