FBI offers $100k reward in search for Charlie Kirk’s killer
Authorities confident they can identify Charlie Kirk's 'college age' killer
The FBI has released photos of a "person of interest" in the killing of Charlie Kirk, described as appearing to be of college age and having blended in with students on campus.
It is also offering a $100,000 reward for "information leading to the identification and arrest of the individual(s) responsible for the murder of Charlie Kirk."
Kirk, a 31-year-old right-wing activist, was fatally shot in the neck during an outdoor speaking event at Utah Valley University in Orem on Wednesday.
Authorities recovered a high-powered, bolt-action rifle near the scene, with ammunition reportedly engraved with messages of transgender and antifascist ideology.
The suspect was captured on video arriving on campus, moving to the roof from where the shot was fired, and then fleeing by jumping off the building.
