Cyclist escapes ICE agents after goading them to ‘come and arrest me’
Man escapes ICE agents on pedal bike in downtown Chicago chase
A man evaded US immigration agents in downtown Chicago by cycling away on a pedal bike.
The incident occurred on Sunday, after the man allegedly provoked agents by shouting, “I’m an illegal immigrant, come and arrest me.”
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents pursued him on foot but were unable to apprehend him, and his identity or custody status remains undisclosed.
There has been an increased ICE presence in Chicago since early September, targeting undocumented immigrants who have committed crimes.
