Donald Trump promoted a military parade on Flag Day, calling it an "unforgettable celebration" and "one like you’ve never seen before."
The parade will honor the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army and feature tanks and flyovers in Washington, D.C., coinciding with Trump's 79th birthday.
The event is projected to cost between $25 and40 million, with potential street repair costs reaching $16 million, sparking concerns from officials like Senator Roger Wicker.
Trump claimed the parade would be "better and bigger than any parade we’ve ever had in this country."
The announcement occurred amid a public feud between Trump and Elon Musk, with Musk alleging Trump is implicated in the Epstein files after Trump said he asked Musk to leave the government.
