‘Eyes in the sky’ operation revealed for Donald Trump’s UK visit
'Like nobody's ever seen before' Everything in Trump's world is unprecedented
A major policing operation will be in place for US president Donald Trump's second visit to the UK next week, hosted by The King at Windsor Castle.
As part of the security measures, a temporary airspace restriction will ban non-police drones and smaller aircraft over Windsor from Tuesday until Thursday.
Thames Valley Police will enforce the ban, using their own drones as "eyes in the sky" to monitor the protected area.
The force is engaging with local communities and drone enthusiasts to ensure awareness of the restriction, warning that flying in the prohibited zone is an offence.
Protests are anticipated during the visit, with demonstrations planned in central London and near Windsor Castle.
