The AI restaurant offering ‘dining in the future’

AI-powered robot performs surgery with skill of human doctor
  • WOOHOO, a new restaurant in central Dubai, is scheduled to open in September, promising a unique "dining in the future" experience.
  • The restaurant's operations, including the menu, ambience, and service, will be largely designed by a culinary artificial intelligence model named "Chef Aiman."
  • Chef Aiman has been trained on extensive food science research, molecular composition data, and over a thousand global recipes to create unusual flavour and ingredient combinations.
  • Human chefs, led by Reif Othman, will assemble and refine the dishes, with the AI aiming to complement and elevate human creativity rather than replace it.
  • The technology also focuses on sustainability by developing recipes that reuse discarded ingredients, with potential plans to license Chef Aiman to other restaurants globally to reduce kitchen waste.
