Farage echoes Trump with claims immigrants are eating swans
Farage accuses eastern European migrants of eating swans from London parks
Nigel Farage, the leader of Reform UK, claims that Romanians in Britain are eating swans in royal parks and taking carp from ponds.
In an LBC interview, he suggested these acts are committed by “people who come from countries where that’s quite acceptable”.
His comments about swans drew parallels to US President Donald Trump's unsubstantiated claims about Haitian migrants eating pets in the US.
Mr Farage also discussed a potential re-evaluation of paracetamol's safety, echoing claims made by Mr Trump linking it to autism without evidence, stating “the science is never settled”.
Critics, including Wes Streeting and Helen Morgan, condemned Farage's paracetamol remarks as “anti-science” and “irresponsible”, accusing him of peddling dangerous agendas.
