  • Labour’s women and equalities minister Jacqui Smith said that the comments "crossed the line" and "overstepped the mark".
  • The BBC, which broadcast the performance live, said it will not make the performance available on demand.
  • Glastonbury Festival said it was "appalled" by Bob Vylan's actions, and Avon and Somerset Police are currently assessing videos of the performance.
