An alleged cyber attack caused significant disruption at several European airports, including Heathrow, Berlin, and Brussels.
The attack targeted Collins Aerospace's Muse software, a provider for check-in and boarding systems, leading to widespread flight delays and cancellations.
Passengers at Heathrow described the situation as 'an absolute nightmare', facing long queues and manual check-in processes, with many missing connecting flights.
Collins Aerospace confirmed the cyber-related disruption, stating the impact was limited to electronic check-in and baggage drop, which could be mitigated manually.
The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is working with Collins Aerospace, affected UK airports, and law enforcement to understand the incident and enhance cyber resilienc
