M&S hackers claim to be behind latest Jaguar Land Rover cyber attack
Jaguar Land Rover said it is aware of the claims and is actively investigating the incident
A group of young hackers, calling themselves Scattered Lapsus$ Hunters, has reportedly claimed responsibility for a major cyber attack on Jaguar Land Rover.
The gang bragged about the hack on Telegram, sharing screenshots.
The cyber attack has severely disrupted Jaguar Land Rover's production and sales, with workers at the Halewood plant reportedly told not to come in.
Jaguar Land Rover stated it is aware of the claims and is actively investigating the incident.
The group, or components of it like Scattered Spider, has been linked to previous cyber attacks on British retailers including Marks and Spencer, the Co-op, and Harrods.
