Jeremy Corbyn reveals his new party ‘will soon take shape’
Jeremy Corbyn outlines plan for new political party and pledges: 'I am here to serve the people'
Zarah Sultana, a former Labour MP, announced the formation of a new left-wing political party, stating the government has failed to improve people's lives.
Jeremy Corbyn, a former Labour leader, confirmed his involvement in the new party, which he said “will soon take shape” as "discussions are ongoing".
Ms Sultana resigned from the Labour Party to co-lead the new movement with Mr Corbyn and other independent figures, criticising the "two-party system".
Her departure follows her suspension from the Labour whip last year for voting against the two-child benefit cap, a stance she reiterated.
Labour's Home Secretary, Yvette Cooper, rejected Ms Sultana's criticisms, highlighting government actions and expressing disagreement with her views.
