New book claims Biden’s team blocked reporter’s number after interview

A new book claims that aides to Joe Biden changed his personal mobile number after a reporter, Tyler Pager, managed to call him for an interview.
Pager, from The New York Times, apparently obtained Biden's private number in late March and spoke with him, with Biden criticizing President Donald Trump.
Biden reportedly told Pager he would be willing to speak for the book and, when asked about ending his 2024 re-election campaign, stated, “No, not now. I don’t spend a lot of time on regrets.”
Following the call, Biden's aides apparently repeatedly contacted Pager, expressing their anger, and subsequently blocked his number and removed Biden's number from service within two days.
The incident highlights the tightly managed nature of Biden's inner circle, contrasting with President Donald Trump's more accessible approach to reporters.
