Joe Rogan predicts Jimmy Kimmel show will gain more popularity since controversy
Joe Rogan predicts Jimmy Kimmel's popularity will soar after ABC took his show off the air
ABC temporarily suspended Jimmy Kimmel Live after the host made controversial on-air comments about the killing of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.
Kimmel's remarks, which criticized attempts to politicize Kirk's murder, provoked outrage from conservatives and FCC Chairman Brendan Carr.
Joe Rogan predicted the suspension would ultimately boost Kimmel's show and that it would be reinstated swiftly.
“He comes back to a standing ovation, Donald Trump tweets mean s*** about him, and then the world moves on,” Rogan added on Tuesday’s episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.
ABC subsequently reversed its decision, announcing the show's return after discussions with Kimmel, though some affiliates, including Nexstar and Sinclair, continue to preempt it.
