A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with fires at two properties linked to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
The fires occurred at the doors of two homes in north London within 24 hours, one of which is a former residence of Sir Keir. He is understood to still own the home.
Counter-terrorism police are leading the investigation due to the connection to a high-profile figure, but the precise motive remains unclear.
The investigation also includes a car fire on May 8 in the same street as one of the affected properties.
Officials are treating all three fires as suspicious.
