  • A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with fires at two properties linked to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
  • The fires occurred at the doors of two homes in north London within 24 hours, one of which is a former residence of Sir Keir. He is understood to still own the home.
  • Counter-terrorism police are leading the investigation due to the connection to a high-profile figure, but the precise motive remains unclear.
  • The investigation also includes a car fire on May 8 in the same street as one of the affected properties.
  • Officials are treating all three fires as suspicious.
