- Dr. Colleen Ryan highlighted that children's thinner skin makes them highly vulnerable to deeper burns from the 212-degree Fahrenheit water and heat-retaining noodles.
- A University of Chicago study revealed that instant noodles are responsible for one-third of all childhood burn injuries, with Shriners Children’s Boston already treating eight patients for this trend in 2025.
