Scientists reveal best time to take high blood pressure tablets
  • A batch of the high blood pressure drug Lercanidipine has been mislabelled, stating 10mg when it actually contains 20mg.
  • The affected batch number is MD4L07, expiring January 2028.
  • Patients are urged to check their medication and contact their doctor or pharmacist if they have the affected batch.
  • As a temporary measure, patients prescribed 10mg can take half a 20mg tablet.
  • Taking too much Lercanidipine can cause heart irregularities, dizziness, and sleepiness.
