Journalist killed in Israeli airstrike was ‘loved by everyone’, says father
- Maryam Abu Daqqa, a 33-year-old photojournalist for Independent Arabia, was killed in an Israeli air strike in the southern Gaza Strip.
- She was at the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis on Monday when the facility was struck, resulting in her death and that of 19 others.
- Her father, Riyad, paid an emotional tribute, describing his daughter as “loved by everybody”.
- Independent Arabia mourned its “courageous correspondent”, who is survived by her 11-year-old son.
