The deputy prime minister resigned from her government roles on Friday after an ethics adviser found she breached the ministerial code over an underpayment of stamp duty.
Constituents widely criticised Ms Rayner, citing hypocrisy and a perceived lack of action within the constituency.
Many long-standing Labour voters in the area indicated they would now consider switching their support to Reform UK in future elections.
Some have suggested she should also resign as an MP so that a by-election can be held.
