Initial reports indicate that at least 20 people have been injured in a shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning.
Police said the shooter had been contained and there was no active threat to the community.
A parent witnessed a man in black with a rifle firing 50 to 100 shots through stained-glass windows into the building during Mass.
Emergency dispatch audio indicated that children were among the injured who been triaged and transported.
Governor Tim Walz, Mayor Jacob Frey, and President Donald Trump were briefed on the incident, with multiple agencies including the ATF and FBI responding.
