Sir Keir Starmer criticised has Nigel Farage as "disgraceful" for "badmouthing" the UK during his appearance at the US Congress.
The Reform UK leader skipped Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday to travel to Washington, where he is scheduled to discuss free speech in the UK before the House of Representatives Judiciary Committee.
Sir Keir accused Mr Farage of attempting to "impose sanctions that will harm working people" by speaking in the US.
The prime minister stated that Farage's actions were "unpatriotic" and a "disgrace".
