A shooting at a Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) centre resulted in the deaths of two detainees and left another in critical condition.
The suspected sniper, identified as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, bringing the total number of people shot to four.
The FBI is investigating the incident as an act of targeted violence, after 'anti-ICE messaging' was discovered on shell casings at the scene.
The suspect reportedly fired indiscriminately from a nearby rooftop at the ICE building and a van, striking the victims who were inside the vehicle.
Politicians, including Texas Senator Ted Cruz and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, condemned the attack, linking it to anti-ICE rhetoric and calling for an end to politically motivated violence.
