Donald Trump claims successful US strikes on Nuclear sites in Iran
US President Donald Trump announced that US military strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites were successful.
Trump stated that the targeted sites, Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan, had been "totally and completely obliterated."
He referred to Iran as the "bully of the middle east," called for peace, and warned that future attacks would be easier if Iran did not comply.
These strikes followed earlier attacks by Israel on Iran on June 13, which Israel claimed were due to Iran's nuclear weapon development, and subsequent retaliatory airstrikes by Iran.
According to an Associated Press report, at least 657 people were killed and 2,037 wounded in Iran.
