  • The 50-minute meeting took place in Washington D.C. ahead of President Trump's upcoming State Visit to the UK.
  • Swinney also raised international issues, including conflicts in Gaza and Qatar, during the discussion.
  • He confirmed he would attend the State Banquet at Windsor Palace during the President's visit.
