Alert for tourists as earthquake shakes Turkey and Greece

A 5.8-magnitude earthquake struck 29km north of Rhodes, Greece, in the early hours of Tuesday, shaking western Turkey and the Greek islands.
In Turkey, a 14-year-old died in Fethiye, and dozens were injured in Mugla as locals panicked and jumped from buildings.
The earthquake's shockwaves were felt across southern Greece, western Turkey, and coastal areas of the Aegean Sea.
Travel agency TUI cautioned British tourists in the region to “remain calm and follow any safety instructions provided by your accommodation or local officials”.
The region experienced aftershocks ranging from 2.2 to 2.9 magnitude, with epicentres near Mugla and Rhodes.
