US President Donald Trump says Russian President Vladimir Putin seems to be delaying the process of implementing the newly struck Black Sea ceasefire agreement.
Mr Trump compared the peace talks to real estate negotiations, suggesting Putin might be hesitant to finalise the deal and Russia was “dragging their feet”.
The White House announced agreements with both Ukraine and Russia to halt attacks on ships in the Black Sea, but Russia later stated conditions for implementation, including the lifting of certain sanctions.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russia of manipulative tactics.
Russia launched overnight drone attacks on the Ukrainian port city of Mykolaiv, causing emergency power outages. Russia also attacked Kryvyi Rih, Mr Zelensky's hometown, causing damage but no casualties.
