  • OpenAI has partnered with the US General Services Administration (GSA) to provide federal agencies with access to ChatGPT Enterprise.
  • Federal agencies will pay a nominal $1 annual fee for the advanced AI chatbot, making it accessible to over 2 million US government employees.
  • The collaboration aligns with President Donald Trump’s AI Action Plan, which aims to accelerate AI development and secure US dominance in the field.
  • OpenAI stated that a pilot programme demonstrated government employees saved approximately 95 minutes per day on routine tasks using the tool.
  • The initiative seeks to enhance government efficiency, making public services faster, easier, and more reliable for the American people.
