OpenAI has partnered with the US General Services Administration (GSA) to provide federal agencies with access to ChatGPT Enterprise.
Federal agencies will pay a nominal $1 annual fee for the advanced AI chatbot, making it accessible to over 2 million US government employees.
The collaboration aligns with President Donald Trump’s AI Action Plan, which aims to accelerate AI development and secure US dominance in the field.
OpenAI stated that a pilot programme demonstrated government employees saved approximately 95 minutes per day on routine tasks using the tool.
The initiative seeks to enhance government efficiency, making public services faster, easier, and more reliable for the American people.
