  • Law enforcement officials carried out a controlled detonation of the package, which was subsequently deemed to be non-explosive.
  • The university confirmed that all scheduled events could resume as normal following the incident.
  • The discovery occurred ahead of a Turning Point USA (TPUSA) event, the first in the state since the killing of its founder, Charlie Kirk, on 10 September.
