Ukrainian troops will participate in London's VE Day procession alongside UK forces, marking the 80th anniversary of the Allied victory over the Nazis.
This inclusion symbolises global support for Ukraine's defense against Russia's invasion, the UK’s Ministry of Defence says.
The Ukrainian contingent comprises personnel training in Britain under Operation Interflex, a UK-led program that has trained over 54,000 Ukrainian recruits.
The procession will include around 1,000 UK service personnel and will be witnessed by WWII veterans.
Events across the UK will mark the anniversary, including a tea party hosted by the King and Queen and a concert at the Palace of Westminster.
