- The left-wing MP had previously threatened defamation proceedings after Mr Corbyn described her launch of a party membership system as “unauthorised”.
- Ms Sultana claimed she faced a “sexist boys' club” and was “sidelined” and “frozen out” by Mr Corbyn and other independent MPs.
- In a statement, Ms Sultana expressed her determination to reconcile for the party's sake, acknowledging supporters felt “demoralised” by the row.
- 'Your Party', which is yet to be officially named, was established by Ms Sultana and Mr Corbyn and aims to be a challenger to existing political parties.
