England defeated Ireland by four wickets in the first T20 match of the series, successfully chasing a target of 197.
Phil Salt was awarded man of the match for his decisive 89 runs off 46 balls, propelling England's chase.
Jacob Bethell, at 21, became the youngest man to captain England in an international match, securing a win in his debut.
Ireland posted a challenging total of 196, with Harry Tector scoring 61 not out and Lorcan Tucker contributing 55 runs.
The victory marks England's first over Ireland in T20s since a 2022 World Cup defeat and a previous washout.
