Erik ten Hag hits out after shock sacking by Bayer Leverkusen

Erik ten Hag was dismissed by Bayer Leverkusen after managing only two Bundesliga matches.
The decision came as a complete surprise to Ten Hag, who stated that the club's management showed a lack of trust in him.
Leverkusen lost their opening league fixture and drew the second, leading to the abrupt departure of the 55-year-old Dutchman.
Ten Hag had taken over from Xabi Alonso in May on a two-year contract, following his sacking by Manchester United.
He argued that building a new team requires time and trust, which he felt was not granted by the club's hierarchy.
