  • Felipe Drugovich, the 2022 F2 champion, has signed with Andretti for the 2025-26 Formula E season, effectively closing the door on his Formula 1 aspirations.
  • Drugovich spent three years as an Aston Martin reserve driver, where he impressed in various practice sessions and test outings, at times setting faster lap times than the team's current F1 drivers.
  • Despite his strong performance and long-held desire for an F1 seat, an opportunity did not materialise due to existing driver contracts and new team announcements.
  • He expressed considerable motivation to return to full-time racing, stating it has been "far too long" without competing.
  • Drugovich will partner with 2023 Formula E champion Jake Dennis, with the new season commencing in his home country, Brazil, on 6 December.
