Wolves have rejected a £50m bid from Newcastle for striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
The West Midlands club has stated that the Norwegian forward is not for sale at any price during the current transfer window.
Strand Larsen, 25, only recently completed a permanent £23m move to Molineux after scoring 14 goals last season whilst on loan from Celta Vigo.
Newcastle targeted Strand Larsen after their approach to sign Yoane Wissa from Brentford was also rebuffed.
The Magpies are seeking a new forward due to Callum Wilson's departure and a stand-off with Alexander Isak, for whom Liverpool's £110m offer was rejected.
