THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Ideally located on the edge of the town centre, within a thirty-minute drive from ample coves and sandy beaches of both coasts, as well as expansive moorland. The Camel Trail can be found opposite the entrance, where guests can hire bikes to explore the neighbouring towns, experiencing some of the most stunning scenery along the way. Take a short 20-minute drive to the beautiful and wild Bodmin moor, with its many myths and legends.

By car: around 4-5 hours' drive from London and 2.5 hours from Bristol. Follow signs to Bodmin town centre from the A30. Parking is available on-site.

By train: closest station is Bodmin Parkway, with direct links to London, Bristol and Birmingham. The station is 10-15 mins away from the hotel by taxi. Book trains to Bodmin Parkway.

THE LOOK AND FEEL

Old is seamlessly blended with new and the attention-to-detail second is to none. Features such as the huge glass roof, flanked by recreated prison landings and genuine Victorian cell doors, are designed to give guests a true sense of a centuries-old jail. Original stone walls have been exposed and lighting is low, adding to the ambience.
