THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Located in the small market town of Marazion, West Cornwall, The Godolphin is ideally positioned on the beachfront of the Mount's Bay Sweep. Located directly opposite St Michael's Mount, it offers a gateway for guests wishing to visit the tidal island and is a fabulous spot to take in the golden syrup Cornish sunsets. The Minack Theatre, Tate St Ives, Tremenheere Sculptural Garden and Land's End are also within easy reach.
By car: the hotel is 6 hours from London, 3 hours 30 mins from Bristol and 2 hours from Plymouth. Free parking is available opposite the hotel.
By train: London Paddington to Penzance takes around 5 hours. The hotel is then 10-15 mins away in a taxi. Book trains to Penzance.
THE LOOK AND FEEL
Offering a fabulous escape for beach and watersport lovers, expect a relaxed coastal aesthetic bringing in the natural beauty of the surroundings. The light-filled living spaces and a two-storey glass and zinc dining area lead onto a balcony upstairs and a terrace downstairs with breathtaking views. Palettes are neutral, reminiscent of the surrounding seascape; grey, blue and green hues offer a backdrop to sustainably sourced stone and recycled-rustic timber furnishings.

The affable team are super welcoming and happy to assist. Guests can enjoy open spaces with staggering vistas across to the Mount; Shutters bar and restaurant. Crabby's bar and the beachfront terrace offer ample seating to relax and soak up the surrounds. Whether it's a late breakfast, afternoon tea or al fresco drinks, hours at the Godolphin, can easily be lost gazing seaward.
