Walk into the Riverside Inn Aymestrey and it feels like you've come home. There's a relaxed, welcoming ambience, a big wood burner for chilly nights and cosy candlelight in the evenings. The bar and restaurant have low ceilings, dark beams dressed with hop garlands, solid wood floors and pleasing art featuring country scenes and animals.

You can take a tour of the kitchen garden, order chocolates, flowers, champagne and packed lunches, eat at a table by the river or in the pretty garden or pick up a map for a nearby walk through ancient woodlands. There is one ground-floor room and ramped access to the bar area and facilities.
