THE LOOK AND FEEL

The hotel feels bright and airy, from the lobby to the rooms. Windows span the height of the building when you enter, letting sunlight stream in during the day and reflecting elegant hanging lights after dark. The 1911 Golden Ford by the entrance - built in Newcastle - adds a whimsical touch.

As well as extensive meeting facilities, the hotel has a pool, gym, spa, restaurant and bar, plus a Club Lounge (free access if staying in a club room or suite). The neighbouring car park offers a discount to hotel guests. Front-of-house staff are efficient, welcoming and quick to recommend restaurants and sightseeing spots when asked.
