THE LOOK AND FEEL

Cypriot sandstone and Pitharia vessels filled with plants in the lobby set the rustic tone of this sprawling resort. Built over five levels, there are lots of hidden areas to escape fellow guests. Panoramic windows provide fabulous views of flower-filled gardens, pools and the harbour. The ambience is relaxed.

THE FACILITIES

The service is efficient and the receptionists are helpful. The array of facilities is enormous, everything from an arts and crafts centre, water sports and luxury spa to three outside pools with waterfalls, an Olympic-sized indoor pool, a large gym, tennis and squash courts and a bowls green. There's a lively evening entertainment programme too.
