OUR REVIEW

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

You're in an enviable location, close to must-visit places like the Vasa Museum, Moderna Museet modern art museum and the Royal Palace. There are rows of cafés for a Fika (coffee and cake) and you're within walking distance to the NK luxury department store, the main shopping street (Drottninggatan) and the quaint Old Town (Gamla Stan). Stroll along by the water to the famed Fotograiska Museum, which is open late with a huge café serving delicious local cardamom sticky buns and a live DJ.

By plane: there are direct flights from London Heathrow and Manchester airport (both 2 hours 20 minutes) to Bromma Stockholm airport. The hotel is a 30-minute drive from the airport. Book flights to Stockholm.

THE LOOK AND FEEL

The hotel is modern with clean lines but with organic undertones. The earthy blue, tan and brown colourway along with the vibrant green ferns create a calming atmosphere. I particularly liked the atrium featuring clever seating with a large communal style circular fixture as well as more private tables and seating scattered around.

THE FACILITIES

All the staff were eager to please and perhaps because we were chatty, we gathered enough information to get an itinerary for the day ahead together from the breakfast staff before even visiting the exceptionally informative concierge. Although it should be a given, it's noticeable how clean and in order everything was throughout the hotel.
