Princess Kate launches animated series to guide parents through early childhood stages
Kate Middleton's Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood Releases Animated Films on Early Childhood
The Princess of Wales has launched an animated film series focused on childhood development, encouraging parents to share "everyday moments of connection" with babies and young children.
Released on Wednesday on YouTube, the main film and six accompanying explainer pieces detail how families can support a child’s social and emotional growth.
Developed by the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, the films are designed for use by charities, early years education professionals, and families.
The princess said that the animated films demonstrate how adults can create nurturing interactions to foster social and emotional development during a child's earliest years.
