  • Tesco is increasing the price of its popular meal deal, making it more expensive for shoppers from Thursday.
  • The regular meal deal will now cost £3.85 for Clubcard holders and £4.25 for those without a Clubcard.
  • The premium meal deal will also see a price rise, increasing to £5.50 for Clubcard holders and £6 for non-Clubcard customers.
  • Tesco stated that the meal deal continues to offer good value, noting that some combinations would cost over £8 if purchased separately.
  • This latest price hike follows a previous increase in August 2024 and positions Tesco's meal deal as more expensive than some competitors, including Morrisons and Sainsbury's.
