This major holiday company has abruptly closed - all we know

Balkan Holidays, a UK travel provider specializing in holidays to Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Malta, and Cyprus, has ceased operations after nearly 60 years.
All future holiday bookings have been cancelled, impacting thousands of British travellers.
Customers currently on holiday are unaffected and will be able to complete their trips.
The company assures all customers will receive full refunds and asks for patience as they process them in departure date order.
The closure is attributed to increasing difficulties in remaining competitive and profitable in the UK travel market.
