  • Two children from Gaza, accompanied by their families, have arrived in Scotland to receive medical treatment.
  • Scotland's Health Secretary, Neil Gray, confirmed their arrival, stating that no one should endure the "deep trauma" they have experienced.
  • The Scottish government has committed to providing treatment for up to 20 Gazan child patients, with more arrivals anticipated in the coming weeks.
  • Authorities have collaborated with health boards and local councils to ensure essential support and housing for the families.
  • Mr Gray emphasised the sensitivity of the process and the need for privacy for the families, while also highlighting Scotland's role in "restoring some humanity" to the situation in Gaza.
