Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, will instruct party members to prepare for a general election in 2027, predicting that Labour's economic management will necessitate an early poll.
Mr Farage said that waning confidence in financial markets, coupled with high long-term borrowing costs, will prevent Labour from completing a full five-year term.
Farage is intensifying Reform UK's preparations for government, including plans to establish a dedicated department and recruit 5,000 candidates for upcoming local and devolved elections.
Nadine Dorries, a former Conservative cabinet minister, has joined the party, stating "The Tory party is dead."
A Labour spokesperson criticised Reform UK for accepting former Tories responsible for economic issues and likened Mr Farage's spending plans to those of former prime minister Liz Truss.
